Angry 911SC Starting problem!

My 911SC -80 did run perfect yesterday and on the evening I parked it in the garage.
This morning I sense some fuel smell outside the car (but the garage is shared with many other cars so I dont know if it's coming from mine) and now it does not run.
The car cranks and fires and then instantly dies. Tried this 4 times with exactly the same results, then decided to take the train before I will run the battery flat.

I have checked the board but nothing I read fits into my problem.

What might be wrong with it!?!?

Garage
It could be fuel pump relay. Run a live direct to the pump fuse and see if it runs like that. If it does check all fuse and relay connections for corrosion and then try a new relay.
good luck

If it tries to fire while starter is turning, but dies when ignition switch is released to 'run' position ... and, if your car has a factory alarm with keyed switch in the driver's door, then the alarm control module is highly suspect! There is a well-documented [in factory service manual]failure mode of the alarm module that disables the car from being started!!!

Please read the following thread:

'82 SC Won't run

Angry Found the reason...

When I moved the car (by hand) to get better light I found the reason. Someone had broken into and emptied it totally on gas!!!
Thats why I smelled gas around the car!
Put some 10 liter of petrol in it and now it spins again.

The leasson learnt here is that the fuel-meter does not update itself if there is no gas in the tank. Mine was showing 1/3 of gas until it had run for some minutes then it dropped down and the red light came on.

Going to the insurance company and local Porsche shop tomorrow.
