Is this supposed to install like I have it in the photo, or under the tunnel lip. When I took it apart it was loose on the shift tube so i dodn't take note.

It should sit on top - as you have it in the photo.

In my Carrera, it goes UNDER, not on top. I can't imagine the SC was different.

Problem solved. It goes on top. There is a notch in the housing. You can kind of make it out in my photo above.
(I had it in there under the first time, and it bound up. ) Wayne's a liar, this wasn't a 2 wrench job. ![]() ![]()
