Adding a wire for a tail light problem

I can not figure out my left rear tail light (not blinker or stop) just a light that goes on when driving at night. Can anyone think of a way for me to run the wire without drilling a hole next to where the left tail light harness goes through the body. I am all set the rest of the way.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

David,

There should already be a spare wire in the harness to the left rear lamp housing for the 'Euro' rear fog lamp.

On early cars it is a White/Green wire behind the dash and folded/taped up ... where the fog lamp switch should go. At the lamp assembly the color changes to Green/White.

Can you access any other wires to the assembly? If so. tie or tape another wire or string to it/them, pull it all back to the engine compartment, leaving the pull string exposed out the back. Then tie the new wire on and pull it all back to the light.
