Short shift install Wow!
I ordered my new factory short shift on Wednesday from PP and had it shipped USPS priority mail ( least expensive ) , so I figured it would get here sometime next week but to my surprise it arrives today . I installed the shift kit along with new bushings and what a difference it makes . You actually feel like you are shifting a modern day car . I highly recommend this upgrade and its pretty straight forward to install .

I am considering this for my SC. How long did the install take?

I spent about three hours . If you've been into your shifter before you should be able to do it in less time . While your in there change the 2 bushings also . You won't be sorry for the time and money spent .

I recommend this - I have it installed in my own car.

Where did you get the short shift kit you used? How much was it?

I just looked at the PP list of shift kits and there are two? Which one did you use?

Don't forget to do the bushings and coupler while "you are in there"
the Wevo clamp is also advisable.

I thought the factory SSK was no longer available? Wayne, did you find a stash, or are they back in production? Or, am I confusing it with a gate shift kit?

Bill - what is the Wevo clamp? Is it what is described here in this exploded view as the coupler clamp? The clamp is in red.
