930 front end alignment

Hey what's a reasonable amount to pay for a front end alignment?? I was just told it requires either tearing the front spoiler off or a trip to a shop that has a laser machine ( meaning $200) seems kinda pricey.. comments????

I thought most shops use a laser alignment machine. Isn't that what NTB uses? Not that I'd take my Porsche to NTB.

My experience is ~4 hours and more if you want to corner balance.

I've never had mine aligned but I'll need to when my current project is done. I can't imagine taking it to a non-Porsche shop. With 4 wheel alignment and corner balance, I would imagine it's more than $200.

Corner balance and four-wheel alignment on 930 = ~$250.

I just did it last week.

Oh, let me add... it was worth it. I went to TRE (Porsche shop).

About a year ago, I paid a guy (just a general alignment shop) $80 to do it. What a waste of my money!

Here in Raleigh I paid a Porsche shop $150 for alignment and corner balance on a '87 turbo-look, which should have the same suspension.
