Ultra-Lap timer questions
Can I buy a longer cable at Radio Shack to replace the 6-ftr? What kind of cable is it? or do I have to reorder from Ultra-lap?
Do I mount the transmitter on a tripod? If so is it just a standard camera tripod?

I got a longer cable from ultra-lap. They swapped the 6 for a 10 for me. PLAVAN on this board was also going to get some 10' cables as well if I recall. I doubt that you will find a cable with the bulk-head type connector they use at Radio Shack.
Yes, a standard ($12.99 at Walmart) camera tripod works fine.
