Advise on removing F- Injectors
When removing fuel Injector(CIS-Jetronics) is there some kind of lubricant that can be use to prevent damage to the sleeve?

The sleeve wll either come out easily or it will not. When I pulled my injectors, three come out with the sleeve and the other three needed to have the little 'nibs' on the intake runners ground off. I bought six new ones with new O rings, etc. I don't know of way to lubricate them, the little nibs that are staked into the aluminum are going to hold 'em in place no matter what.

Thank's for the reply I'm talking about the Injectors only not the sleeve . I don't need to take the sleeve's out. I just want to make sure that the sleeve stay in place and only the Injector comes out. I just wonder if some of you guys have used a lubricant to make the Injector extraction easy. I just want to take the Injectors out for cleaning and calibration and or replacement. Of course I know that when one take an Injector out you have to replace the Injector O-ring Vic |
