What's the best way to find a part number?
Not having any parts catalog, what's the best way to find a part number?
Here are the left and right warm air assemblies. One half is in the bonnet and the other half is under the dash.    The 3 pics are all of the same parts, from different angles. The parts which go under the dash have what appears to be the following part numbers: 911.571.348.01 & 1-3201-100 Re (Can't Read)....347.01 & 1-3200-100 Lt The parts that go in the bonnet appear to be the same, but have no numbers visible. The base of one of these is broken and partially missing. This is the part I try to find. If anyone know what these thing-a-ma-jigs are called, please help. Anyone who can help give part number, please do the same. I rather doubt that our host would have the part, but is this something I should call them about? Thanks to all, dg

That is most certainly an item to buy from a junk yard. They don't know what to do with them they have so many. Just tell them what you need. You don't need no stinkin' PN.
I don't think you even want to know what a new part costs. Or do you? EDIT: I'm sorry, that wasn't a very nice way of putting it. If you need a PN, many of us have a PET catalogue. Mine is not available to me right now. Good luck on your search. Last edited by Zeke; 08-12-2005 at 04:31 PM.. |

 Would PartsHeaven be a likely source or do you have some junk yards or dismantlers you could refer me to. Don't see too many P-cars here in the El Paso/Juarez Mexi-plex; although come to think of it there are sure a lot of '79s. Regards, dg
