Radio security code
I have a real nice Blaupunkt without a security code. Am I plum out of luck? There is a four digit number on a sticky tag on the back. But, aren't the codes usually multiple letters and numbers?

I do not think so , according to other factory radios I has the security digit ARE ONLY numbers cause the radios has only numbers (for the stations) in there not letters. Also the security code comes in a separate tag with the operations manual not in the back of the radio cause anybody could use it after steal it if the put the security code there.

Jose Luis is correct. I bought a used Blaupunkt that did not have the code. I contacted them , gave them the serial number of the unit and got the code. One other unit I got had a code but it was diaabled somehow. Put power to the unit, if the digital window reads CODE, then enter the 4 numbers you have, if that doesn't work, contact Blaupunkt and give them the serial number. I didn't pay anything for the info but it took a few calls to get it.
