Knock from front left when un-weighting
History -
I did a full brake rebuild last month, new rotors, caliper rebuild, SS lines and pads. Outside wheel bearing were freshly packed. I did not do anything to the inner bearings. This weekend I was at a DE event. Occasionaly when I would be turning left under load and the front left would unweight I would get a single knock that felt like it was under my left foot. I did tighten the front wheel bearing on Sunday morning and I thought it had fixed it but it came back. Tugging on the rotor with the wheel off seems tight, with the wheel on the ground and pulling, I 'might' feel the problem. Car has shocks with only about 10k on them. It has a weltmeister swaybar in the front. Everything else is stock. Car is '87 Targa with 65K. Everything in the wheel well is tight. I have not pulled the pan yet. Car is handling fine and there are no wobbles or pulling that I can tell. Any suggestions on what I might look for before turning it over to my shop? Thanks, Paul
