Unhappy I need electrical help

I am stumped. Both of my drivers side lights are not working on my 71 911. I changed the bulbs and cleaned all the connections, still not working. I changed the fuse...still no luck. For some strange reason my blinkers, back up lights, head lights and tail lights all work. Could it be the switch? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you elaborate on "both of your drivers side lights"? The way the post reads, only your headlight is not working.

Check the wiring at the fuse box, also check the contacts for the fuse itself. Make sure all of the fuses associated with the lighting are changed, and the terminals clean.

My Drivers side tail light and the front drivers side marker light are both out. I changed all the fuses relating to the lights and blinkers. I also cleaned the connections. Think its the switch?

Your logic is faulty! If the lights on one side of the car are working ... it CAN'T BE THE SWITCH!!!

Check the 6-pole bulkhead connectors ...

Early S, I appreciate your response but I am not an expert nor do I try to act like one, that is why I am asking for help on this BB. I am young and new to working on cars. Where can I locate the 6 pole connector, is it behind the dash? Can I test it with a test light? Thank you.

Porsche Crest

The round, molded-rubber bulkhead connectors are at the forward corners of the trunk and rear corners of the engine compartment.
