Do Neatrix bushings need grease?
Tried a search but could not find any examples.
Do Neatrix bushings need a coating of grease or silicon before install. Thanks for your time.

Find some rubber-friendly lubricant to use to install them; normal grease will eat them.

Silicone spray and longer bolts make life easier when installing. The longer bolts pull the assembly into the chassis, instead of having to pound them in with a rubber mallet like I did.
![]() Like Thom said, don't use petroleum grease. Turns the rubber to a sticky paste.

Thanks Thom. I was thinking of using either Dow 111 or Napa Sil-glide on them upon installation.
Thanks

All kidding aside, I've used it a lot when installing window and door seals in freshly-painted VW's.

Yes. I'd use Dow 111. It really is an awesome grease for this job (oil return tubes too).
