Porsche Crest Check out my new engine.

I'm running very late so this will be short. I got my car back today and I brought home a straggler as well.

It's a 3.2, w/SSI, Centerforce clutch/Sachs pressure plate, brain, harness, fuel pump, filter, tach, recent plugs, wires, powder coated tin, etc, etc, etc,

I'll post more later.

Vroom, vroom!

Stand by for a PHX engine install coming soon to a garage with a wimpy jack.

Very nice Don. I look forward to the install. If you don't get a better jack Joe may implode and I might get a hernia.

" Its a very nice '72 coupe."

You have the cab style shock absorber engine crossbar installed...

Hey, after we get the engine installed we'll cut the roof off. Then everything will match.

" Was that only used on the cabs, Randy?"

- I think so. If you want to add more wt. and get less engine rocking, tho - why not?

Ok, this is purely on the fly, but to answer your question cyprus, I think its a torque dampener to absorb engine twist under heavy accel.
