Alignment Question

So the front tires (SO-2's) on my new '89 Carrera need to be replaced, 'cause there's no tread left on the inner 20% - My PPI tech just said to check the toe in when I replace the tires, but the shop that did the 45K suggests it needs the "full meal deal" alignment.......How extensive an alignment do you all recommend?

Well, if you have a lot of negative camber and too much toe, you can get what you are seeing. I guess I'd go the whole way and get a full 4-wheel alignment and a corner balance as well. You could go like -1 degree camber front and -1.5 camber rear, depending on how you drive. You can probably go stock on camber and caster settings. If you have never had a corner balance, and your car is off, the difference is amazing.
