H4s with level control

I just purchased some used H4s here in europe. My fellow pelican who sold them to me said they are an option on almost all turbos if not all 911's from 80 something on. My 86 doesn't have them.. Has anyone seen them over here??

The headlight adjusters are indeed a European option, not sure what countries required it, but for the early body style at least it was a vacuum based system with an adjustment wheel near the ignition switch.

Now, I wonder why the heck they use vacuum, when I geared servo or stepper motor on the adjustment screw would be easier and I would think more reliable (and in fact what I might do to my car).

I'd really like to get some sort of headlight adjustment in both of my 911's, there is enough variation in aiming from fuel and luggage load that it seems like a good idea....but I have never seen them here.

Anyone got a set up for sale?

Dennis

According to Harald ,, everyone has them. The reason we don't use steppers or servos is weight.. for the weight of a vacuum hose and a switch you've got them.. I'll post pics when I get them. but I'm sure Harald ( Speedster94) would set anyone up that wants them.. He's got a ton of H4s in stock and some switches as well
