MFI Protractors for '72-'73: Should there be 1 or 2 in the set?

I've been trying to buy the MFI protractors for the '72 - '73 throttle bodies. At Porsche and Pelican, they are now NLA. Another place I've found had a box which only had 1 protractor and 1 pointer and they're telling me this is correct. Shouldn't this protractor set come with 2 protractors and pointers, one for each throttle body? Thanks in advance. Gary

Gary,

Here is a good thread on this subject – particularly page 2.
More fun with MFI and LM-1

As you can see, the original set (P228b) for 2.0 and 2.2 comprises three protractors. The additional/supplemental set (P228c) is comprised of two protractors. You need both sets for a 2.4, 2.7 or 3.0 MFI. The correlation numbers are the same for all MFI engines (CMA p.18).

Best,
Grady

Thank you, Grady. That's exactly what I thought. This company was trying to tell me that there was only 1 protractor in the '72 - '73 set, and they wanted $310 for that one protractor! I have the 3 protractors that came in the '71 and earlier set, so I just need the later set. Does anyone know who has a set for sale? Thanks, Gary

I loaned my '71 set to Milt (and was expecting a '72 set to loan to him) so that he could reproduce them if he could. The '72 set became NLA and my order was cancelled. If I can purchase a '72 - '73 set, I will definitely loan them to Milt as well. Gary
