Color Questions

Hi,

I have a 1975 Porsche 911 Cabriolet that I'm considering to re-paint.
Can you match either of these colors?

Can you recommend a shop or shops in the Washington DC area?

Lime Green

Metallic Azure Blue

Lynn-75,

If you can get the paint codes for the color you want, the paint shop should be able to match.

Paintscratch.com is a pretty cool resource for getting the code of the color you want. The only blue close on their site is this:
Cobalt Blue Metallic Clearcoat - 2006 color - Code = 3C8/F6

and according to this thread
Viper Green vs. Signal Green

Kelly, Viper and Emerald green have the same code - L225

I hope this helps. Be sure and post pics of the project. Is your 75 a targa converted to a cab?

Hi Kemo,

Thanks for the info.

My car is a 1975, re-bodied with a 1987 cabriolet body and a 1985 3.0 engine.

Trying to figure out the right parts is a trick.

Thanks,

Lynn

you must have got the moritz-max as opposed to the max-moritz

good luck with your project and remember to post some good pics, if you can, along the way.
