John,

thanks for the encouragement! I did write a cover piece on a particular local purple 911 some of you might remember for 9 Magazine, an online Porsche mag. It was a lot of fun, and my first Porsche article!

Also, thanks for pointing out the post #s! I would never have thought to check those! Pretty good luck, eh?

And, so this stays on topic, here's a photo of me with Matteo's beast Kind of fitting that I've got my London Underground shirt on since the car's going to England...

That is superb Keith, mine should eventually look very similar but with ally bumpers and no straps. Great work!

Those tips look great, Thats a great idea to just add the tips to give it that header "look" but still have a functional muffler.

Dry Weight...

So, the dry weight is 2360 lbs.

Not bad considering the only fiberglass parts on this car are the bumpers and wing. (and the street tires are really heavy)

Some random details:

Ha! I was off half a tank....

Looking good....

Off to Atlanta soon?

Looking seriously hot Keith - if the devil is in the detail then he has moved to Zuffenhaus.

Is the front lid steel? Any reason it is that tiny touch longer than the wings? Not nitpicking just wondering. Mine is ally and is a tiny touch shorter than my wings.

Are you sending a pot of touch-up paint with the car? That first British stone chip is coming and we have some kamikaze flies over here too
