That's alot of Porsche's for such a small town - I live in a county that probably has over 5 million people and we can bearly get 15 guys together for a run.

This is from an old post on the yellowbird
"The paint code for the color of our yellowbird is Por139 blütengelb. "
Hope that helps.

Sorry for being all of the place, this is just so stressful

I wonder how Ferrari's Rossa Corsa ( I think it is the name for their red) would look? It has more red than Guard's Red.

piedogger thanks

We don't have any g2g's or meets, but I know of them.

One of those black cars is a nicely modded 996TT. The guy also owns a Ferrari 550 and has an Aston Martin on order.

I saw a wicked 930 in midnight blue - kind of a dark navy blue (non metallic). It had the right "evil" look without being a heat score for cops.

I love the yellows you are thinking about as well.

Fly Yellow. You won't regret it. More vibrant than Speed Yellow.

I think Speed Yellow maybe a Ferrari color but I'm not sure.

Bluten Gelb I believe translates as Blossom Yellow.

Other favorites I would pick for your car:

Mexico Blue
Gelb Grun (Yellow Green)
Continental Orange

You need a few more opinions, right?

1. that Ferrari red color that you mentioned would be very nice, and it is "more red" than Guards Red.

2. The Diamond Blue metallic color used on the '88 Carrera commemorative edition cars is both beautiful and understated at the same time. Depending on how the light hits it the cars look either blue, silver, or purple.

When I was searching for my first 911 last fall I saw one of these cars for the first time, and was very impressed with the color. Unfortunately things did not work out for that particular car, and I ended up with a car painted in Stone Gray metallic which is also a very nice color but might be too understated for you!

Diamond Blue would certainly make your car look unique but at the same time it would not necessarily be a "cop magnet" like some of the brighter colors.

Good luck with your decision!

P.S. in case you need a site to see paint chips and get proper color names, etc. you can do this at http://www.paintscratch.com
No affiliation; just found it to be helpful while searching for touch-up paint.

I love that green color, but of your original choices, I would choose Cobalt Blue.
