help w/ SWB front caliper adaptors

all;
i turned up nothing about these so, here goes... (if my search arguement is faulty, please get me up to speed)

these were offered as upgrades to SWB cars to increase the mount spacing of the front calipers to 3 1/2" (eg; S calipers)
has anyone seen or used these ? is the complete upgrade straight forward ? (i presume there's more to it)

an idea worth exploring or time to put the parts down and slowly back away ?
thanks in advance!
cheers
jerry

Jerry,

Stoddard used to offer machined aluminum adapters that did the same thing as those pictured above, but, I believe they were discontinued in the late '80s.

If the dimensions are correct, I see no problem with their use. You might have to fabricate different hard or flex lines to acommodate the 'S' or 'A' calipers.

Warren;
i hadn't considered the length of the lines / hoses... good point!

I put SC vented rotors and sc 3.5"brakes, but of course it's not stock anymore either.
