are 2. and 2.2 distributor the same
Sorry should know this but want to be sure.
do the 2.0 and 2.2 distributors physically interchange. I think the 2.0 is the small shaft, but do not know what the 2.2 is thanks in advance. brant

If they are both Bosch...yes....some 2.0s had the crappy Marelli dizzy....

Yes, all 2.0 and 2.2 engine distributors will interchange. With the beginning of 2.4 production the shaft/bore increased to a nominal 30.0 mm.

Advance curves are different depending upon engine specs, for example 2.0 S vs, 2.2 T, aren't they?
