Weight of Varioram Intake System vs. Plastic 964 Intake System?

Currently, I'm having a cage that ties into the suspension designed for my 82. It's being built to fit into the Porsche Racing Club's (PCR) GT-Limited class (same as PCA's GT2R with intake, exhaust and tire limitations).

The guy designing and building the cage wants to know how much my engine and tranny weight within 20 pounds. I know the weight of the tranny but need to figure the weight of the 97 after I take the Varioram intake off and replace it with the 964 plastic intake system - required for the GT-Limited class.

The fully dressed 97 Varioram weights about 460 pounds with custom Steve Timmons exhaust.

Does anyone know if there is a weight difference between the Varioram intake and the 964 intake and if so what it is?

Thanks-
Craig Backer

According to the factory there is a 3kg difference between a vram and non vram 993.
