Yes, the '74 US Carrera 2.7 CIS really took it on the chin so to speak, it was a car from the marketing department not engineering. They got the M calipers all around, among other deficiencies.

The front rotors are 1970-1983 911 VENTED rotors (roughly 11 and 1/4 inches). The specific ones on our care are Zimmerman, cross-drilled vented, available thru Tweek etc.

S hardware kit is require and there is a little grinding (plus building the shim) to accomplish. All the information for this was somewhere on this pelican site. That's where we got the idea.

Checked in the garage for the 320 caliper part # and either its not on the caliper or its just covered with paint and unreadable.

Hey Guys!
I sell these BMW calipers and I have them in stock.
They fit front or rear they have the 3" spacing and fit the Porsche vented rotors.
There remanufactured and painted.
There as good as A calipers and ya don't have to buy struts.
They work Great!
They just bolt right on.
Brake bias is the same as the A caliper.
If ya need some just let me know.
Here is some on the rear of a 914-6 They also will fit the rear of a 911.

Just a reminder to re-read BV's post above on the limited thermal effects of calipers as vs. rotors....

This also bears repeating:
"To upgrade you need different struts with 3.5 spacing."
- that is why the Carrerra struts are popular.
{And as we all know, the best thing to do with a Carrerra is to mine it for brake, suspension, engine & shifter for your early car, then toss the unit body...}
