I used Twin Etch from Martin-Sinour (spelling) on the beadblasted wheels. Then I cleared them with Dupont 7500S. Then I masked them, and cleaned them with Dupont Prepsol, then skuffed the clear with 1000 grit paper. Then I cleaned them with Dupont Laquer and Enamel cleaner. Then I shot the black Dupont Chromeone paint.

I was told by Dupont that they don't recommend clearing bare Alu. They suggested painting the wheels. I think painting the wheels might look more RSRish and might last longer than the way that I did it. But I bet my clear lasts a long time.
