Front end alignment needed near Boston, MA

I'm looking for a good alignment shop in greater boston area to check the front end of my 84 Carrera. Anyone got recommendations for me?

Thanks in advance.

Independant shop located in Peabody on Rt 1 South; Porsche + Audi specialists.

I had my 83SC aligned at Direct Tire in Peabody when I purchased new tires. While competent, they don't see too many older Porsches, and needed to be sure the appropriate tech was working that day. I would recommend a Porsche specialist who works on these cars day in and day out. Autobahn sets up race cars as well as daily drivers, and can do corner balancing. I will be taking my car there in the spring.

If you only need your front alignment checked, any tire place with an alignment rack can do that along with a comprehensive computer printout of where your alignment stands.

Cheers,

Joe

Thanks for the tip guys. I had it done there and they did a great job. Rick was very nice as Bill mentioned, took the time to take some pictures of other small issues I should address with the car, but didn't put a hard sell on me at the same time. I'll definitely return to them for other work.

Doing the front only is a waste of time and effort. These cars require four-wheel alignment and corner balance. The setting on each corner affects it's diagonal counterpart. Spend the time and/or money to do the full alignment, you will regret it if you don't.
