Pedal Cluster HELP ????
Hey guys. Rebuilt the pedal cluster, and I'm on the last step here.
The clutch spring... I see how it is supposed to attach, but what is the final resting position of the clutch pedal when this thing is completely at rest and not connected to the tranny? Does this picture show how the pedal cluster should be at rest on my work bench? THe clutch pedal can just hang freely? ![]() Thanks, and yes, I looked through 101 projects and this forum. I did find info, but not specifically this... Michael

It was floppy in Stinky before I connected the cable to it.

Michael,
What you are missing is the spacer on the right side of the shaft (see white plastic/nylon spacer in pic). That will iliminate the space you have on the left. I think your springs are all correct. ![]()
