WTF: Reverse Threaded Nuts

Want To Find:

A source for reverse threaded nuts used on throotle linkage (shown in center of pic). One of mine split. Thanks

The Porsche PET cd shows an M5 nut with left hand threads for the throttle linkage with a part number of 900.076.029.02

Just spoke with Glenn - 900.076.029.02 is NLA. I will at Kahler's this evening for the Diablo Track event tech and will check to see if Denny has any. If not, then I will check the other "usual suspects" (EASY, Partsheaven, Bowlins...). Thanks again guys - most helpful.

Found them! EASY and Brolins didn't have them but the local hobby store did. They are used by the radio control guys. Nylock and flanged no less.

Looks nice. Very resourceful on your part. They appear to be yellow zinc as well. That's the hardest part, getting yellow plated hardware. Next time, try the 356 supply houses and maybe a Weber rebuilder. Do I dare say Motormeister? Hey, they're good for something. Lastly, Henry Schmidt has it all.
