protosport installed-reprot and a question

Its in. Uneventful, took longer than I thought, about 25 hrs, most of it just due to the logistics of cramming everything in.

Car runs great, idles smooth, pulls well, feels stronger above 4k but no dramatic "rush" of boost. Then again, its .5 bar.

I can't get a reading on a basic vdo boost gauge, however. Its plumbed in the same line as the fpr, which has both ports tied together, altho its technically in the same line as the lower port.
This is all on a common feed w/ the vac line to the bov, all fed by the port on the throttle body. I left the booster line alone, no changes, its still fed by both the boot above the throttle body and the port on the left intake.

Wastegate pipe is cool to touch, so I don't think that its stuck open.

If I take the line off the boost gauge, I get very strong vaccum when motor is pulling vaccum, but I never feel positive pressure, even at 5k wide open. If I blow into the gauge, no prob, it moves.

So, is this a gauge plumbing issue, or no boost? The car drives so well, I can't imagine its not going positive, but how can I confirm?
