I followed this project and have to say you are a true magician, nicely done!
IMHO 3 things I would change - a) mirrors look out of place 2) front looks very high, 2 much wheel gap 3) needs a spacer in the back, wheels are 2 tucked in keep up the good work!

Thanks Guys!
OK! On the next one I will change the mirrors. I figured as this car is intended to a everyday driver with all the fu fu that heated adjustable mirrors would be better. I have some spacers already. We just haven't put them on cuz the studs aren't long enough. I have some coming though. The front is as low as were gona put it. It has the H&R sport lowering springs on and the perches are at the lowest position. And as it is an everyday driver we didn't want it slammed down like we do the race ones. It also will get a little lower when we put every thing back in trunk and fuel. It's still a work in progress. But Thanks for the input. ![]()

The Lindsey Fuchs look great on thee 964 hubs. I'm really surprised. It's nice to see that with a widebody, the deep dish look can be preserved.
Gorgeous car! Great work!

tom1394racing & Doug&Julie:
The car dose not have a good home yet. When we geter finished and I am done having a little fun with I hope to find it one. m325ix: The interior is a all stock sport leather in saddle. with all the loaded C4 Fu Fu. ![]() It's gona make a great everyday driver. Jack & JeremyD: The wheels were the only thing on this project that I had concerns about. Especially the fronts. I am really glad to see ya guys say that it worked. ![]() Mike will be able to make a little deeper on the next set. ![]() In the front about 3/8" and in the rear 3/4 " deeper. The real deal with the C4 is ya got to keep the tires really near the same diameter or it will screw up the all wheel system. So on the front they are 245-55x17s and the rear 275-40x17s These sizes are almost the same. There the closest I could get. On a C2 ya could use 255's or 265's front and on the rear 315's. David E. Clark: It looks better! ![]() We have had a really great time building this car. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be. But if it was easy it wouldn't been as fun. The next one will be easer to build. Now that it has given up all it's secrets ![]()

Nice job! As others have the mentioned I think it would look even better with different mirrors and wheel spacers. Still...very, very nice.
I'm curious, how are you able to run 'Antique Auto' license plates on a C4? -Scott |

Hey Don,
I don't know how you do it, but all of the cars that leave your shop are incredible. Way to go! Mark

Looks like a great driver. All the style of an RSR with the creature comforts and ride of a C4. Nice work!

never question or discuss your friends choice of license plate.
one size fits all.
