Newest possible seats in a 1979 SC?

Sorta of a strange question here. I'm building a car on a 1979 SC body and I was wondering; what are the newest possible standard Porsche seats that will fit in a 1979 SC? I can always use adapter rails (if available), doesn't have to be a drop in fit. Sport seats ideally.

thanks,
phs

With a few mods, boxter seats fit. not difficult just a few holes.

Search my name for the directions in a prior thread.

Would this apply to a 77 c3 as well? I'm pondering seat swaps at the moment.

Not so, seat rails changed in 87 as I found out when I tried to move the Recaro SE's from my 80 to my 87...
