What Compression ratio do I have on my SC?
I was reading this article by Noah:
More power for CIS engines and I'm trying to figure out what compression ratio I have on my 80 SC engine. Anyone know how to tell if it's the 8.5's or 9.3's? If I've already got the 9.3:1 pistons, do I need to upgrade to the 9.5 or 9.8's or just put the 964 cams and I'm done? Thanks in advance.

If it is a US model, I believe it 9.3,

Thanks Ianc,
Does this mean it's not going to make as big a difference going to the 9.5 c/r pistons? If I get the cams, (along with SSI's/exhaust) I'll be up a significant amount of power?

I couldn't really estimate the difference you'd see Spiff, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in here,
