993 Alternator assembly problem

I took my alternator apart to change the bearing. I already assembled it again but I am having problems with the small plastic fan that goes in the rear part.

Does anyone know which direction should face it.

Looking at the PET, it lools like your first post is correct. I would be supprized that you could get the end cover on if you had it the other way.
