Congratulations.

Now start reading up on where to add a few fuses to keep your new baby safe. Make sure the front condenser fan and the dash lights have a fuse added. The factory failed to fuse those.

Thank You all for the kind words.
It is a 89 with 51,000 km, all stock except for the radio, chipped and CAT bypass pipe. I am the third owner. The second owner did not use it much at all.
I did a bit of paint touch up (stone chips), polish the paint a bit, replace one CV joint boot, fix the turn signal switch, fix the horn. I am sure a lot more projects are on their way, just can't wait till winter is over.

Cool, nice 535i, e28 is one of my favorite BMW, especially the M5.

Love them both, I'm also mixing my German cars. Congrats on a great looking car. The Pelican Forum has been a great source of info and feed back for me and it's very inspiring when trying to make repairs, mods, upgrades. The 911 experience just started this year but I've been a BMW guy for a while - all be it newer and not needed work. I love my 335i for it's ease at going fast. With the wealth of electronics my wife can drive it fast too and with 300 hp, 300 ft/lbs of torque, and a 6 speed twin clutch paddle shift transmission it is fast. Thing is any punk with a pocket full of cash can get one and act like a hero. It takes skill, talent, and determination to learn how to drive a classic 911 fast. We need to preserve these fantastic cars!!

Here are couple pictures - both go fast but one's like a surgeons scalpel and the other is more of a meat cleaver (in a good way).

I had an e28 535is and to this date it is one of the very few cars I miss.

I also owned a 335i coupe. Black with chestnut interior 6mt msport. Loved it also. So easy to drive, so much torque.

There is only one E30 that I really miss. It is the E30 M3, Henna Red on Tan. A wicked car with wicked head gasket and manifold gasket problems. It is like letting go of Heidi Klum. Some nights you miss her. I bet Seal is missing Heidi too.

But never enough to buy another one, now that is north of $50K.
