Is this the High-Vibration epoxy-filled, or the slightly larger oil-filled one?

You might try one of two strategies:

1. Loosen the omega-shaped coil clamp/bracket and slip the coil down a bit towards the distributor.

2. Get the relocation coil bracket used on engines with factory A/C ... it moved the coil downwards about 3" - 4" on the slant of the fan housing to give more clearance for the A/C condenser coils hanging under the deck lid.
