What did I adj. wrong?

Hi all
I thought I needed to adjust my clutch, and what I did was adjust the cable thinking this was the right thing to do. Now My pedal is lower than the brake and when I take off in first she slips. Once in second everything is good. I know I did something wrong could someone help.
Thanks in advance.

Do a search for clutch adjustment, I'm sure you'll find plenty. I had the same issue (clutch lower than the break). What I did was have my girlfriend's son left the clutch all the way up and hold it. Then I just adjusted the adjustment nut to snug, stopped at that point. After, pedal height was fine and so was the clutch.

How, exactly, did you adjust the cable?

Slack, bad word.

We don't want no slackers in the clutch dept.
