Can I use K&N oil on a stock filter?
Since I no longer use my K&N filter in my 993, but still have the oil kit, I'm wondering if spraying some of that oil on a stock Mahle filter does any good. I've heard air filters work better after they've collected some dirt and I guess some K&N oil would make this better, no?

NO! The K&N filter works better when it gets dirty because the oily dirt plugs up those big asss holes in the medium. The stock filter has a denser medium that catches those fine particles without the need for oil.
