Leaking Gas (left side) no start?

every once in a while for the last few months i could smell gas . . . but just recently when i try and start a stream comes down from the left side and now it won't start. 75 911s . . . no sign of leak in trunk and hard to trace the source . . . any advice amigos?

Send a message via AIM to air-cool-me
is it leaking from under that plate that covers the back of the tank and fuel pump?

under that plate there is a rubber line after the pump that can get old and crack.

I think your right on Nick - I am going to drop the plate tonight and check the fitting. Thanks for the advice.

My guess is that fuel pump went bad and is also leaking.
