^^^ Yeah, picking up a classic here.
Don't believe Jim ever commented on question about his car being Targa or cab. Will say ECU on floor of either is bad news. Suggest removing it from floor and attaching it to seat bottom---zip ties work nicely. If there's ever any water collection on cabin floor... ECU's not damaged. (I have Targa and went through that learning curve.)
