Mixed up Fuchs/Fuched up mix

I always knew I had 15X6" fuchs on my car but after learning more (thanks pelicans), I have learned that I have 3 different kinds. I have the deep sixes on the front but flat 6's on the back. One of the deep 6's has the heart shaped valve stem.

I need to replace my tires and I was also thinking about going to 16X6" fuchs finished in the old style or maybe RSR finish. My question is, should I split these and sell individually? Also how much are each kind worth? I know deep 6's are more valuable but by how much? Are hearts worth more?

Is there that much of a difference going to 16's with a smaller profile as far as handling goes?

Thanks

As for the value, here are some recent sales (or attempted sales) here on the boards:
FS: deep six fuchs!

Deep Sixes FS

Deep six fuchs 2

On the Deep Sixes, I think generally the "heart-shape" at the valve is more desirable, but I don't think they command much of a premium in price.

The Deep Sixes are normally about double the price of Flats.

It's probably best to sell the deeps and flats as separate pairs -- as opposed to selling all four as "one un-matched" set. People are sometimes looking for just one wheel, so selling each individually is an option.

I sold a set of five Deep Sixes some time back as one "lot" since I didn't want to go through the work of selling them individually (the "time is money" thing).

The price of deep sixes have gone through the roof. I used to (and have) bought these a few years ago for $400 a set, over and over. Nowadays, they are commanding up to $500 a wheel!

As for the 16s on your car - it will not look right - the later style 16" 911SC wheels just seem to look "off" to me on the early cars. You can paint the outer rim to make them look like the 15s, which helps, but it's just not the same.

If the deep sixes were what came with your car, I would go with them on all four corners...

Steel wheels were original on my car.

I'm considering the 16s only to improve handling by reducing side wall height. That and more tire choices with 16s.

If I were to stick with the 15s I would probably get 2 more flat 6s. I think that is what was available in 71. right?

can anyone recommend good 15 inch tires? I run 195/60 r15s.
