Engine compartment liner
Mine is finally giving up and is sagging on top of the airbox. The foam is almost desintegrated. I tried some quick duct tape at the track but it wont stick to the rubber outside material. I looks like withoug dropping the engine you can't replace it, right? What about using an RTV like adhesive to re-glue it? I'm sure this has happened to all of us with 22 yr old cars. The stuff just gives way. Maybe I should just hack off the offending flap and enjoy that awesome sound even more.
Jeff ps: if this has come up before can you share the search terms or link that works. I tried and got alot of thread about headliners. |

Lots of threads on here about the engine pad. Don't reglue it. Pull out the old pad and use a shop vac to clean up the mess.
