start problem
The problem I´m having on hot starts is fuel abssence. Even with the hand throttle up the fuel takes a long time to reach the fuel distrib., and when it burns looks like comes with too much air and the misture stays like that for the hole ride. I already changed my fuel acumulator. Any ideas??

Could be the check valve in your fuel pump,
Also try leaving the gas cap loose for a temp fix |

The check valve is located on the pump wherethe fuel line connects it screws into the pump on some models its just before the pump maybe a few inches in the line
you can buy a check valve for about $20 so you don't need to replace the fuel pump [This message has been edited by jryerson (edited 03-17-2000).] |
