Warm start problem and rough idle.
Hi all, some of you may remember that I had an '80 Euro CIS fitted to my '80 US SC. The difference is awsome! so much better than before. gobs more power. I suspect the original setup was fouled so I wasn't getting full power out of it to begin with though.
Anyways, having a problem with warm starts. (starting cold is flawless) When I attempt to start the car warm it will take 2 or 3 tries before it starts. Even when it finally fires it idles very poorly and I must apply throttle to keep her alive for 20 seconds or so. After that all is fine again. Any takers? Cheers, nik

Nik,
Usual culprits are fuel accumulator or check valve at fuel pump. Check your residual fuel pressure. Good luck! Al S
