C-2 Intercooler install on the Jalopy's 3.3L, Plus Green Fuchs! 1982 930.

Pelicans,

We have successfully installed a new C-2 intercooler on my 1982 930, the "Jalopy"!

Thanks out to Mr9146 and TLG, aka Marco and Tony.

They were brilliant in modifying/welding brackets and piping to fit a late intercooler on an early 3.3L opposed to a 964 3.3L. We used all OEM 964 3.3L parts were applicable.

Plus:
Andial Fuel Enrichment System
1-Bar Boost Spring
915 5th Gear Mod with an early "Tall" 5th gear. In order to achieve a faster top end.

This is all done to a complete rebuilt engine with 627 Miles on it! Compliments of the veteran "Tommy Turbo" "Tom Amon" 911 Engine Builder. With Jason Cullen as the assistant. First and Last engine I will rebuild.

I am putting "Green Fuchs" back on my Jalopy.
Satin Anodized Outer Lips – Frost Inner Lip/Spoke. Green Accents.
951 - 16x8s Front - 225/50/16's on Yokohamas
911 - 16x9s Rear - 245/45/16's on Yokohamas
Compliments of Al and Diane Reed! Secret Candy Apple Green Paint blend!

The Jalopy will be seen on the Road soon!

Thank you for chiming in!
Jason

Nice! Not an easy job.

That Andial fuel deal, there are WAY better choices.
930 mani is not meant to be wet. Thought about the IA fuel head?

Make sure you put a hose clamp on that upper intercooler hose. It WILL blow off if you dont!

(trust me)

Just wondering why you got 951 8's if you have a 930? Only narrow body cars need that offset for the front. With the turbo body you can run the stock 930 rear 8" fuch in front, see my webpage. Otherwise you have the best intercooler and coolest painted fuchs I have ever seen!!

Well Thank you!

I run 951 8s for esthetics. I like the look of a 951 8 "Lip “on the front versus an 911 8. I ran stock wheels versus built/welded wheels for authenticity.

We will see how the jalopy goes!

Very nice Jason! I didn't think I would like the green until I saw the photos. Excellent.
