rough idle---fixed

Couldn't take it anymore. cleaned idle speed control valve, worked great. Cleaned volume air flow sensor. Cleaned throttle housing. replace fuel filter, spark plugs, oxygen sensor, cylinder head temp sensor, adjusted valves, ran fuel system cleaner, and then did what cleaned up the rough low rpm problem by replacing the fuel injectors. the injectors made the most difference. The previous owner drove car 4k miles last 13 years and old injectors gummed up at intake where injector gets fuel from fuel rail. Idle is really smooth now with minimal hunting. 1984 m491 coupe.

Can you post a picture of the old injectors? I'm just wondering how bad they looked.

Thanks,
MAtt

also wondering what "kind" of fuel claner you tried first....

Techron ( the full strength stuff...not the kind that says "with Techron") works wonders usually, and precludes replacement of injectors many times.
