Fog Lights not working

Relay is good, fuse is good, bulbs are good, switch checks out ok...what could be the problem? I recently installed higher power headlights (55/100)and on several occassions the fogs would not come on. I haven't traced down the wires yet..thought I'd post here first to see if anyone could give suggestions as to what this problem might be...Thanks
Chris Baker

Hey Warren, yes the fog lights are I believe factory option Hella Fog lights. The car is a 1974 coupe.

I just added a PIAA high output headlight relay and H4 (130w/185w) bulbs in my 81 SC. In side the driver side head lamp assembly are the turn on leads for the fog lamp relay tied into your low beams. When I pulled the lamp out to run the new wiring harness i found that my connecters were very corroded. I had to replace the connectors. This might be the root of your problem.

This is the second timne on this BB I have heard of rear fog lights. What's a rear fog light? Is this the back-up (reverse) light?

Hello Superman.
Here in Europe we have a rear fog light as an option. In fact here in Norway it is mandatory. It is a red light installed on the l/h side just below the rear bumper.
Best regards. Ove
