strange shifter noise...please help
Recently I replaced all my shifting bushings, replaced transmission oil with Swepco, new ball joints, wevo psj, and finally a WEVO 915 shifter. All worked out ok but recently when its in third gear and i'm accelerating there is a strange grinding or scrathing type noise coming from the shifting area but when i let go of the accelerator pedal it stops.
any ideas thanks in advance sammy

It is possible that the motor/trans mounts are letting your shifter come in contact with the tunnel when torqued up. If this is the case, you might hear the same in 5th, or not. You'd have to get on the power band at some pretty good speeds. Try looking over all your adjustments before becoming too concerned with this noise.
