Frank,
That's a tough pill to swallow. Good to hear Chuck said it sounded normal when you were cranking it. I hope it is just electrical and an easy (on the wallet) fix. Keep us posted.

Chuck, you were at Firebird sunday? You should have stopped by, I am at the exit before Firebird. Was there a track day sunday?

yes g/friend and i did another "road test" and watched auto-x follies at firebird. lots of vettes, ricers, some british stuff. watched em kill cones for awhile, then jumped on I-10 to I-8-gila bend(boy that was cool) and back up to I-10, then past cardinal stadium and back to cave krick. CAR RAN FLAWLESS! lots of ICE cops along I-8 guarding the homeland from illegals.

came home and tenderly and lovingly washed my trusty steed. (KILLED ALOT OF BUGS AND ORANGE CATERPILLARS).g/friend got miffed and split. went grocery shopping grabbed some cervezas and continued detail until wee hours.

today it is getting waxed by detail guy at airport with state of the art AEROSPACE WAX that is used on million $+ pilatus turboprops. will find out what wax he uses. THEN monyana it is getting 3M clear tape(helicopter tape) all across RUF front end, down rocker panels and rear quarters.

its amazing how many beers you can consume lovingly washing your car!

Fuel filter must have been really clogged, or just really old. Hope nothing is in your tank.
Charles is right on the fuses and spare stuff. time to collect all that stuff.
