Please Post your "twin plug" engine bay

Just curious how all your twin plug engine bays look.

I am mounting my MSD boxes in the car, so where do you mount the coils? How do you route the wires? How do you route the wires to the bottom side? Through the tin?

Here's my setup with a modified 964 distributor. Coils mounted to the fan ring and one CDI in the stock location with the other in the back near the firewall. For the lower wires, I have holes drilled in the tin with rubber O-rings to protect the wires. With this method you need to pull the connector off to route the wires. You will also need to use "keepers" on the bottom to keep the connectors in place (I'll look for a pic of those and post if I find it).

Here's the 993 coil packs. They are mounted on large rubber isolators 1.5" diameter.
Excuse the blow up of my 14 pin connector.

not a real close up of the engine bay, but you get the idea.

The coils are mounted on a platform between the throttle bodies

Doesn't really apply with your specifications, but here's my Motronic version of twin plug:

Twin coils mounted in the original location of the single coil with a fabricated bracket:

Holes drilled in engine tin to run the lower wires through with rubber grommets sourced from Lowe's just down the street from you.

Just about ready to go back into the car:

Wire clamps / management

Both of these wire clamps look different than:

the garden variety from http://www.mcmaster.com/ page 1374.

Is this the part from Henry at Supertec?

89turbocabmike.....drool...drool...me too.
