D@mn Craig..... I know you're tired after kicking Vette @ss all day, but update us already----the suspense is killing me My take is that as long as Craig can hang in the corners, he will EAT the Vette up. His power to weight ratio is WAY better. A buddy of my ran his 2150#/325 NA HP '73 911 (which is a mean, street legal RS clone) against a new ZO6 at Buttonwillow and literally put 3 car lengths on him anytime they hit the main straight together. Both cars on R compund tires, both moderate skill---911, 4 sec. per lap quicker!!! Not bad for a street legal, 33 year old car. Go Craig, Go Porsche. | ||

Headin' to bed..........I'm pooped. Impressions in the AM! The 930 more than held her own. Sliiiightly quicker in a straight line - and it isn't tuned yet - running excessively rich.

Craig, My nieghbor owns the Z06 and I know he drives for Team Seattle. I know his car well and if you can hold your own you are in a new league of CIS turbos, Congrats!

Cool you know him - he is a really good driver, I was very impressed. A natural talent if there is one.

I'm looking forward to hearing the details. I have a friend who is strongly considering purchasing a Z06, I'm still pushing Porsche on him though. Maybe this thread will help to convince him. -Matt
