Procedure for changing brake light switches
What is the procedure for chamging the brake light switches?
Do I have to bleed the brake fluid out first or anything? Do I have to put pressure on the brake pedal while I remove and install them? Thanks. -Scott |

78SC Brake switches
If you're speaking to the 2 pressure swithces that are screwed into the Master Cylinder, no you won't need to bleed. You will bust your knuckles up a bit likely. The VW part for the same year as a 911 will work if you have 78 3.0L. No need to put pressure on brakes.

Thanks. I got part number 113 945 515 H (2 of them). It's the 2 prong one which is what is in the car.
BTW, nice MR2. Are you on MR2OC? -Scott |
